Alison Hawkins is a children’s book creator who began her career as a graphic and product designer, illustrating for apparel, toys, and greeting cards. She is the illustrator of Angela Shanté’s The Noisy Classroom, Little People, Big Dreams’s Nelson Mandela, and the Super Gross early reader series. The first book she wrote and illustrated for kids is titled Time to Go, Larry. When she is not sketching, you can find Alison cooking at home, hitting up a favorite coffee shop, or exploring local hiking trails with her husband and dog in North Carolina.
