April Pulley Sayre is the award-winning creator of numerous books for children, including the acclaimed Raindrops Roll, Best in Snow, and Full of Fall. She has traveled to many places to observe, investigate, and photograph the world. JoEllen McAllister Stammen has illustrated many books for young readers, including You Were Born a Kitten and Sleep, Little One, Sleep, both by Marion Dane Bauer. Her illustrations have been called “exquisite” by the New York Times, “wonderful” by School Library Journal, and “strikingly poignant” by Publishers Weekly. She lives in Camden, Maine.
